I enjoy making pottery that wants to be picked up, handled and used. Decorating and altering the shapes of my pieces takes each creation from predictable to the unusual.

I work in high fired stoneware using a variety of ceramic techniques including throwing, handbuilding, press molding, stamping, carved relief and wax resist. Each piece is individually constructed and decorated by me and is unique unto itself. This functional ware is microwave and oven proof and lead-free.
