Anne H. Legge was born in Baltimore, MD. She was enrolled in private art lessons at a young age and continued her passion for art through the years. Anne moved to New Orleans, LA to complete her high school education, and found inspiration from the city to create original artworks. After completing her education at Pacific University in Oregon, she returned to New Orleans where she was drawn to work on her fine arts.
In 1997, Anne moved to Los Angles, CA to pursue work in the animation industry. Her first professional job was working on the Nickelodeon cartoon, Wild Thornberry’s. After two seasons, she left to join the staff of the Emmy award winning cartoon, Futurama. A year later, Anne went to work on the prime time cartoon, The Simpsons, where she is now in her 15th season.
Anne now resides in northern Arizona where she freelances her animation work while raising a family. She was named “Artist in Resident” in 2005 at the Grand Canyon National Park. She is still passionate about creating her artwork and finds time to create original works of art that she shows locally and throughout New Orleans, LA.
