Marty Orosz – Thunderheart Jewelry

Drawing from her love of the western lifestyle, Marty individually handcrafts one-of-a-kind and limited edition heirloom jewelry from sterling silver, copper and recycled leather creating unique wearable art. Nature, animals and the stones themselves inspire her collection of pendants, earrings and bracelets. Each piece tells a story and reflects upon who we are and what we wish to express through our adornments.

Marty’s jewelry expertise comes from many years of training that began at Idyllwild School of Music & Arts. Under the tutelage of Hopi artist, Michael Kabotie, she enrolled in a 2 week intensive and studied the Hopi Overlay fabrication method. Since those early days she has continued exploration of style, technique, and all facets of jewelry making and has also attended many other classes and workshops.

Marty grew up drawing and dreaming of horses. She holds a BS in Graphic Design from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, CA. She is the owner of Marty Orosz Design, a graphic design business. When not in her studio, Marty enjoys the outdoors by hiking with her husband and Aussie rescue dog.
